Create the Expiration Date Attribute

    Depending on what type of products you sell, it might be necessary for you to keep track of expiration dates.

    1. Go to Items in the main navigation menu.

    2. Press the + New Attribute button in the upper right-hand corner.

    3. Enter expdate into the field under ATTRIBUTE CODE.

    4. Enter the attribute name under ATTRIBUTE NAME.

    5. Choose Product attribute / string from the dropdown menu under CUSTOM ATTRIBUTE TYPE.

    6. Select Date under FRONTEND INPUT TYPE.

    7. Enter 2 in the field under UI COLUMN SIZE IN POS.

    8. Select Enabled under SHOW ON QUICK UPDATE FORM.

    9. Press Save Changes.

    10. Apply an Expiration Date to the product(s).
